Crystal Channels Gift Shop was born April 1988. She opened her doors in Sonoma County in the spring of 1989, first in Cotati. In July 1989, relocated to Santa Rosa. The store remains in the area and is still owned and operated by the original founder, Kami Ortez.

Products include crystal & mineral specimens, sterling silver & stone pendants, rings & bracelets, candles, greeting cards, books, a large variety of incense, sage wands, angel & fairy related items, Tibetan & Hindu statues, Tibetan Bowls, Zen bells, local art, stained glass art, dreamcatchers, scarves, suncatchers, and bumper stickers.
